I often get inspiration for my ceramic design in the actual process of the clay. From the clay, it is cut, kneaded, shaped and slapped down on the turntable.. then it all starts..
Maybe I had an idea before, a sketch, a photo from a place, an exhibition, nature, a flea market.. one of my old forms, or just a desire to follow this path, this day… The dialogue with others around me things, also inspires new ideas and the interplay between form, color, function and design.

Tanker omkring håndværk, inspirations- og arbejdsprocesser.
Inspiration til mit keramiske design får jeg ofte i selve processen med leret. Fra leret skæres, æltes, formes og klaskes ned på drejeskiven..så starter det hele..
Måske har jeg haft en ide inden, en skitse, et foto fra et sted, en udstilling, naturen, et loppemarked.. en af mine gamle former, eller bare en lyst til at følge denne kløs, denne dag…Dialogen med andre omkring mine ting, inspirerer også til nye ideer og samspillet mellem form, farve, funktion og design.
