Soft soil
Soft ground: 20 x 30 cm
Frame dimensions:: 40 x 50 cm
Soft primer is a fatty etching primer that protects the plate so that only the exposed metal is exposed to acid during etching. In these prints, it is an impression of physical leaves in the soft ground that forms the motif.
My intention is to invite nature into the living room and highlight the complexity and degree of detail that nature contains.
About Heidi Borg
My work explores the Nordic equivalent of the Southeast Asian philosophy of emptiness, impermanence and interdependence. My visual language revolves around the narrative of time and space, using cityscapes and the Nordic light as subject matter to evoke ambiguous images with a sense of mystery.

Ramme mål:: 40 x 50 cm
Blødgrund er en fedtholdig ætsegrund, der beskytter pladen, så kun det blotlagte metal udsættes for syre under ætsningen. I disse print er det et aftryk af fysiske blade i blødgrunden, der danner motivet.
Min intention er at inviterer naturen ind i stuen og fremhæve den kompleksitet og detaljegrad naturen rummer.

Mit arbejde udforsker den nordiske ækvivalent til den sydøstasiatiske filosofi om tomhed, forgængelighed og gensidig afhængighed. Mit visuelle sprog kredser om fortællingen om tid og rum, ved at bruge bylandskab og det nordiske lys som emne til at fremkalde flertydige billeder med en følelse af mystik.
